We will also provide a comprehensive review of the rules and regulations specific to Oklahoma LPCs, LADCs, LCSWs, and LMFTs, ensuring participants are up-to-date with the latest legal requirements. Finally, the workshop will delve into the relationship between self-care and ethical behaviors, emphasizing the importance of maintaining personal well-being to uphold professional standards.
Objectives Include:
2. Participants will learn the most common reasons for licensure board complaints and civil lawsuits and ways to guard against each..
3. Participants will discuss the relationship between self-care and ethical behaviors.
This course meets criteria for 3 hours of ethics continuing education by the Oklahoma Board of Behavioral Health for Oklahoma LPC and LMFT license holders, by the Oklahoma State Board of Licensed Social Workers (provider #20240088) for Oklahoma LCSW license holders, by the Oklahoma Board of Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselors (certificate #20250018) for LADC and CADC license holders, and for Oklahoma case managers (3 hours ethics CEs). This training will not meet criteria for NBCC credit.
